This chocolate cake recipe makes about 4 servings. It will take only 10 minutes for you to prepare everything, plus 45 minutes of cooking. It is a pretty simple recipe, which produces an all-purpose chocolate cake. Don't hesitate, collect the ingredients and start preparing this wonderful chocolate cake, the result will amaze you.

INGREDIENTS:
  •  3.5 oz. unsweetened chocolate 
  • 2 tbsp. melted butter 
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract 
  • 6 oz. all purpose flour 
  • 7 oz. white sugar 
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 
  • 1 tsp. baking soda 
  • 1 tsp. salt 
  • 1/2 cup skimmed milk 
  • 3 well beaten large eggs 
DIRECTIONS:
  1. Over low heat, using a saucepan, melt the chocolate by stirring constantly, until it's smooth and melted.
  2.  Once it's smooth, add the vanilla extract. 
  3.  In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and baking powder, stirring constantly. 
  4.  Pour the melted chocolate into the bowl of dry ingredients and stir well. 
  5.  Stir in the butter, milk, and eggs, beating until it gets smooth.
  6.  Heat the oven to 350 F.
  7. Put the batter into a cake pan and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
 There are several drink choices you can serve along the chocolate cake for your guests:
-All types of milk go well with chocolate cake, whole, low-fat and non-fat. 
-Stout, which is a dark brew, preferably in chocolate flavor. 
-Coffee, hot or iced. You can also stir liqueurs into the coffee, for a better taste. 
-A dessert wine that is slightly sweeter than the chocolate cake.
