INGREDIENTS:
- 3.5 oz. unsweetened chocolate
- 2 tbsp. melted butter
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 6 oz. all purpose flour
- 7 oz. white sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup skimmed milk
- 3 well beaten large eggs
- Over low heat, using a saucepan, melt the chocolate by stirring constantly, until it's smooth and melted.
- Once it's smooth, add the vanilla extract.
- In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and baking powder, stirring constantly.
- Pour the melted chocolate into the bowl of dry ingredients and stir well.
- Stir in the butter, milk, and eggs, beating until it gets smooth.
- Heat the oven to 350 F.
- Put the batter into a cake pan and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
